Description

The Uganda COVID-19 Response and Emergency Preparedness Project (herein the�� UCREPP��) aims to prevent, detect and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and strengthen national systems for public health. The AF will ensure vaccines are procured and deployed and, refugees and host communities are further provided for within this objective. UCREPP, in the amount of SDR 9.2 million (US$12.5 million equivalent) plus US$2.7million in grant from the Pandemic Emergency Financing Facility (PEFF) was prepared under the SPRP and approved on July 15, 2020. The PEFF component of the Project became effective on August 31, 2020 and closed on March 30, 2021 while the IDA credit became effective on August 3, 2021.
