Description

The Family Planning monthly performance update for December 2021 and 2021 annual highlights has been compiled using our service statistics data (DHIS 2) as one of the principal instruments to monitor program performances. Reporting rates for December greatly improved compared to November, there was a decline in the Reporting rates on time but achieved the national target. Stock-out of Injectable contraceptives modestly reduced from 13.6% (November) to 13% in December. We continue to see more expiries of Injectable contraceptives happening at lower levels of care, especially HCIIs. We registered a decrease in the couple of years of protection in December compared to November. A decline in the number of integrated SRHR outreaches was registered in December. Overall, Implant use is growing, and the country��s method mix is expanding. More institutional deliveries per 100 women of reproductive age were high among �� 24-year-old mothers contributing 52%.
