Description
In the bit to improve healthcare service delivery in the country, the Ministry of Health (MoH) has focused its efforts on improving the management of its human resource i.e. Health Workers (HW). This is being achieved through the use of quality of Health Workforce data generated from the Human Resource for Health Information System (HRHIS). HRHIS is already deployed and in use in all district local governments, 14 regional referral hospitals, the two national referral hospital, the four Health Professional Councils, the three medical bureaus, the MoH Headquarters, Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI), Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI), Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (UBTS), National Medical Stores, the two health examination boards and department education standards.
