Description

The Ministry of Health (MoH) with support from Implementing Partners (IPs) across the country has been able to train key personnel from 112 districts in iHRIS - a web based electronic system. The trainees included people from the Ministry of Health Headquarters, District CAOs, HR officers, Biostatisticians, Secretaries to DHOs, relevant officers from the two National Referral Hospitals, staff from the 14 Regional Referral Hospitals, UVRI, Uganda Cancer Institute, Uganda Blood Transfusion Services, UNMEB, UAHEB, UPMB, UCMB, UMMB, Municipalities, and the four professional councils i.e. UNMC, AHPC, UMDPC and Pharmacy Council). The plan is to train more people at all levels where human resources for health data is managed. This will include rolling out to all local governments, health sub-districts and health facilities, so as to improve data quality and data use at the workplace
