This issue of the National Malaria Control Program newsletter is spiced up with a number of stories showing the LLIN 2017/2018 journey. Key among the stories is Nalweyiso��s story who envisages opening up a retail shop in her house as a result of savings from Malaria treatment. Nalweyiso is grateful to the Government of Uganda for the gift of a mosquito net into her home because it is going a new twist in her home. Other stories in this newsletter detail how the campaign has been conducted showing the waving plan and testimonies from different people who received the nets. It is important to note that the LLIN intervention should take into account milti-sectoral considerations like poverty alleviation which is a key driver to net misuse.
