Malaria cases have declined from 100,830 cases in week 32 to 99,672 cases in week 33 which can be attributed to a decline in reporting rates. 16 malaria deaths were reported. The highest number of deaths were in Mbale(3), Nebbi(2), and Hoima(2). Karamoja region has consistently reported the highest percentage of malaria test negatives treated, over 41% in the past 3weeks. West Nile, Karamoja, Teso and Central regions had the highest test positivity rate (over 41%) in week 33. Districts have reported a stock out of ACTs less than 50% of the district facilities; with the exception of Pakwach, Kibale, Ssembabule, Buvuma, Butebo, Amolatar and Dokolo District which had no stock out.
