In 2009, Uganda received support from the Global Program for Reproductive Health Commodity Security (GPRHCS) to assist the�Ministry of Health in developing a national strategy. The strategy focused on logistics management to improve the functionality of the national and district Reproductive Health commodities Security (RHCS) coordination mechanisms. Uganda is among the 46 countries under the GPRHCS that has conducted these annual surveys to track RHCS indicators. The survey was designed to go beyond the availability of RH commodities to cover significant aspects of service delivery facilities that shore up good RH programmes.
